Spiritual Warfare Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you right now for your goodness and your mercy and grace over us. We thank you for the things that we can see and the things that we can’t see that you are doing in our lives. We thank you for the protection that you charge over us each passing day. Also, Father, we thank you that we were able to see another day with new mercies. You said in your Word that they are new every morning, so thank you Lord for the blessings. Thank you for your faithfulness; because great is your faithfulness in our lives. Bless and strengthen us as we are moving in our spiritual walk and relationship with you. Strengthen our core so that we can effectively withstand the weight of your Holy Armor. Father, whatever your people need, let them come to you only in prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Let’s Get To It!!!
In order to fight this battle, you have to know your target. You have to gain intel on your opponent to understand what you're dealing with; it’s only right since your enemy has been doing the same thing. The military does the same tactic when undergoing investigation on their enemies. Some use a technique called Targeting. In Targeting they use a cycle called “F3EA”, which stands for Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit and Analyze. In this spiritual war, we too can use this same tactic when in battle. In the next four parts of A Breach in the Kingdom, we will be breaking down the F3EA cycle, using this tactic as a Spiritual Warfare Defense.
Here is what the F3EA cycle looks like:
FIND: Identifying the target. Gaining intel using the Who, What, When, Where, and Why.
FIX: The enemy is under surveillance; gaining information on the target’s whereabouts
FINISHED: Action is enforced; by way of attacking or capturing the target
EXPLOIT: With gathered intel from phases FIND, FIX, and FINISH; here, we can make full use of the information gathered to integrate the target showcasing their vulnerabilities and weakness
ANALYZE: In this stage, all information is reviewed and notified so that in the future they know what worked and what needed improvement.
Here is what our Spiritual Warfare Defence F3EA looks like:
[FIND]: ENEMY SPOTTED:
We have to know when we are being attacked, and what areas Satan is wreaking havoc in so that we can readily identify him. What do we know about him? Who is he? Let’s get some intel on our target and see what we find out.

Since the beginning of time [1 John 3:8]
When he was kicked out of heaven [Isa 14:12]
In your last trial season!
Some have the misconception that Satan is this red entity with horns and a pointy tail that scares people; but in reality, he is so much more than that.
Satan was originally named Lucifer, which means “Star of the Morning”. [Isa 14:12]
Lucifer held a high-ranking position as an anointed Cherub. A Cherub is a winged angelic being who directly attends to God. He was ordained and anointed by God to be a Guardian Cherub [Ezekiel 28]
He was the seal of perfection, with all wisdom and beauty. [Ezekiel 28:12]
You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God…You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings”
Practically my whole life I knew Satan in a bad light, so when I began to read my bible more and learn the characters of Lucifer before he became prideful, I was completely taken back. Like this dude was once a good and beautiful person! Especially the part where the bible says he was a Cherub. Cherubs are deemed to be these powerful and angelic beings that surround God’s throne. It’s hard to associate the Devil with being anything but bad.
Lucifer became jealous of God and wanted to be worshiped and praised. His pridefulness is what resulted in God kicking him out. Wherever position he had in Heaven was lost now. Look carefully at the scripture below for the “I will” statements that Satan was using to convey his plans.
How you are fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into Heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit”.
It’s amazing how quickly Lucifer became this beautiful being into being the thing that “weakens the nations”. Whew! This is what happens when we walk in our own understanding and in our own righteousness.
When Lucifer fell from Heaven, he didn’t fall alone. He fell with other fallen angels that now do his bidding. He has an army full of fallen angels and demons that will operate as he does.
Scripture also says that there were thousands upon thousands of angels around the throne [Rev 5:11] and that there are more angelic angels than Satan's fallen ones. [2 Kings 6:16]
Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.
Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11: 14
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4 This tells us that Satan operates in confusion and ignorance of the unbelievers. This is his tactic is to keep us from seeing the true revelation of the gospel and God. Because he couldn’t get his way in heaven in his first offense, he knows is working his schemes on God’s people.

Golden Words of Wisdom:
Whether you know it or not Satan is our target and our enemy in this battle. He is a trickster and shows his tactics by hiding behind things like idolatry and false doctrine, family members, and so much more. When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. Matthew 13:19 This is another scripture that displays who Satan is and his desperate attempt in trying to keep Christ out of our lives.
When you know proper information about your target, Satan, you will be more inclined in responding accordingly when he attacks.
Questions To Consider: Ask yourself these questions and try to answer them to the best of your ability.
1. What do you think of the F3EA cycling tactic that the military uses to find their target? Could you use this same tactic?
2. Were there some things that you learned that you didn’t know already?
3. Knowing what you know about Satan and the ways he corrupts the people of God,; Am I prepared for his schemes? Am I dressed accordingly? Am I wearing my uniform?
And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
