Welcome to Motivational Mondays!
First things first, what are Motivational Mondays?
Just like it sounds, to motivate, to empower, and to encourage you on the first day of a fresh week. I don't know about you but Mondays can be a drag for me, so sometimes words of encouragement and positivity are helpful to start my day off right.
Motivational Monday's topic is:
Mistakes, They Happen!
As I am sure you all are aware, everyone makes mistakes. There is not one person on this earth that hasn’t made one no matter who they are or were.
Mistakes should be how we learn what to do in the future. No matter if they are big mistakes or small ones, we should all take the time to see what we can learn from what went wrong. I think that a lot of us sometimes, myself included, get so caught up in the fact that we messed up, that we fail to see the positives in it. Sometimes mistakes can be a blessing needed.
I don’t know about you but when something does not go right for me it throws me off and I sometimes don’t want to continue what I am doing. I had to learn that all things work together for my good whether they are good or bad. God uses ALL of it, for HIS purpose in molding and refining US! Remember God does NOT expect us to be perfect, in fact he already knows that we will stumble, and mess up. It is inevitable! God is looking to see what we do with it. God wants to see what our Response Is When The Temperature Rises! God is looking for effort. He wants to know that you tried your best and that you are using your resources.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
I love this scripture because God is reassuring us that he is always with us. There is not one mistake that we could make that would be so bad that it would cause him to push us away. Remember that God can handle any and everything that we can place before him. He is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, he has already seen what we did before we did it. God exclaims in the scripture that if we lean on him he will continuously be there to strengthen us, to help guide us on the path to take, and to help us along the way.
One thing I love about the bible is that it will correct me when I’m feeling defeated. This is what the bible says about us making mistakes.
So be humble under God’s powerful hand. Then he will lift you up when the right time comes. Give all your worries to him, because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7
Thoroughly wash me, inside and out, of all my crooked deeds. Cleanse me from my sins. For I am fully aware of all I have done wrong, and my guilt is there, staring me in the face. It was against You, only You, that I sinned, for I have done what You say is wrong, right before Your eyes. So when You speak, You are in the right. When You judge, Your judgments are pure and true.
Psalm 51:2-4
We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
James 3:2
If we say that we do not have any sin, we are deceiving ourselves and we’re not being truthful to ourselves.
1 John 1:8
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth
2 Timothy 2:15
As you go on about your day, remember you are not your mistakes. You are uniquely and wonderfully made at the hand of our Lord and Savior. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. God wants us to live according to HIS will, but he knows that we will fail and make several mistakes. He encourages us to keep up the good fight and press on anyway. Keep pushing, because there’s always purpose in our mistakes.
**I hope everyone has a safe and blessed week and I will see you all on Saturday for our Weekly Topic Saturdays**
~Just Breathe...A Golden Dream~
