Motivational Monday's topic is:
I want to wish a very special Mother's Day to all of the mothers around the world. Mothers are a true gift from God. For this Motivational Monday post, I want to give a special shout-out to my very own Mother. I love her dearly. Poetry is one thing that brings me great joy so I decided to write her a special poem.
For A Praying Mother
This is for you, my dear mother
You loved me from the very beginning.
Your love is never-ending
You’ve nurtured me and raised me
In the way that I should go
So no matter how far I travel,
I will remember all that I know.
From a very young age, you instilled
That I should put God first in all that I do
Trust in him and he will guide you through
I would always hear your voice say.
Pray and always have Faith
And God will save the Day!
From you my dear mother,
I got my passion
To chase my dreams
You were there to encourage me
Because fashion was our thing
You were my real-life barbie
Someone I aspired to be
We had so much fun dressing up
Hair done and nails to match
To ME mom you are my Queen
We may not talk each and every day
But I know you are there
Your prayers cover me
And protect me
I know it's because you care.
I think back at all of the happy memories we share
The laughs, the smiles
Our unprecedented style
And the oh so many happy tears we shed
Mom, you taught me that no matter where I go
That kindness and humility
was a must whether they be friend or foe
We may not always see eye to eye
And that's alright with me
Because at the end of the days
Our love outshines ALWAYS
You are my praying mother.
You see!
