Welcome to the first Motivational Monday post!
First things first, what is Motivational Mondays? It's just like it sounds, to motivate, to empower, and to encourage you on the first day of a fresh week. I don't know about you but Mondays can be such a drag for me, I've noticed that sometimes hearing or seeing words of encouragement and positivity are helpful with starting my day off right.
So let's get into it!
Motivational Monday's Topic Is: Get to work!
By a show of comments how many of us have always wanted to start something but quickly after the idea enters our heads, we lose all the inspiration that we had initially.............. Anyone??
I’m going to tell you right now…. I KNOW I have!!
I cannot tell you how many times I have had these great ideas or plans to do something big and awesome but became too overwhelmed at the prospect of doing it and quit before I even started.
Procrastination is something that runs deep with me and until recently if it could be put off.......... I WOULD put it off.
Speaking a declaration over my life, I have decided that I am going to start somewhere. I am no longer going to put off what I could do today for tomorrow. I am letting go of the fears of inadequacy, fears of imperfection, fears of judgment, fears of doubt and I am GOING to put into Action the visions that I have been holding on to all this time.
I know that everyone has that one project or that one thing that they want to accomplish but are scared to jump into it for whatever reason. Don’t be scared. The bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” So this is letting you know that God already has the game plan set in place; he is just looking to you to take the first step and initiate.
Remember, God isn’t looking for us to be perfect or to know it all; he just wants us to put our best effort out there and He will come and help handle the rest.
So come with me and start that project, that business, that book, that you have been putting off and do that THING that you have been wanting to do........ NO MORE putting it off!
**I hope everyone has a safe and blessed week and I will see you all on Saturday for our Weekly Topic Saturdays**
~Just Breathe...A Golden Dream~

Hi Kanietta, don't get me started on a praise break! Lol. What helped me with procrastination was saying to myself, "This idea you have could be the one that changes your life, better yet could change some elses life, or that internally makes you happy, it is worth it?, yes! Now do it". Thats what I kept saying to myself everytime doubt and frustration clouded my judgment. We as flawed human beings need to build up our defense when things like procrastination, worry, fear, practically anything thats negative comes our way, we need to mentally block it, cast it out This are attacks from the enemy! Don't let him win! The mind is a battlefield, that deals with the most conflict. Your…
MAN SAY!!!! If YOU don't get out of my head!!! If this wasn't a word!! (Insert Praise Break)...
If you look up the word procrastinator, you'll see my face. My issue is FEAR! What I am about to say is going to sound contradicting, but I am fearful of a lot, but I have faith that God is with/for me. I have so many ideas, things that I'd like to start, but I either get distracted or scared. I am going to take a page from your book and DECIDE TO START SOMEWHERE!!!
Thanks for no longer procrastinating and following your dreams! Also, thanks for pushing me to be/do better...

This was very motivational! I am always putting things off. Always starting then giving up after the lack of support or too scared to take a chance! Always hearing the voice of someone else saying “you can’t do this”! I am definitely going to start putting myself out there!
I am so proud of you you! Keep up the great work!
